Cement shares to be increase in the future. Stock Market News.

Cement companies' shares may increase in the coming times.

Intelligence Group: Cement prices have been declining continuously for the past seven months. Cement prices have also come down in December. However, analysts believe that the coming time may prove to be good for cement companies. According to experts, the earnings of cement companies can be seen better due to the decrease in the price of raw materials. It can also not be ignored that despite the fall in prices, the price of cement is higher than the level a year ago.

According to the December data, the average cement prices across the country fell by around 2.5 per cent. The price of one bag was Rs 339. In May 2019, the price was Rs 368 per bag. Since then, there has been a steady decline in prices.

However, analysts say the current price is still higher than a year ago. They expect the performance of financial data to be better in December quarter as compared to year-on-year.

Apart from this, the prices of pet coke (coal), which is the raw material required to make cement, has come down by 25 to 30 percent in the last six months. Due to all these reasons, experts believe that cement volume can grow by 4 to 6 percent in FY 2019-20.
