SENSEX TODAY | Stock market: Strong start, IndusInd Bank gained 2 per cent.

New Delhi: Investors made short buying before the last date of settlement of futures. With this, the domestic stock market opened with a light-hearted lead on Tuesday. The weakening of the rupee against the dollar caused investors' morale to drop slightly.

The BSE Sensex opened strong at 41,684.51 on Tuesday. It closed at 41,642.66 on Monday. Its high level during the morning trading was 41,702.98 points. While at the bottom it went up to 41,603.90 points.

At 9.30 am, the Sensex was trading at a level of 41,684 with a gain of 42 points or 0.10 per cent. At the same time, the Nifty 50 index was trading at 12,277, up by 15 points or 0.12 per cent.

Thursday is the last day of settlement of futures. Investors have taken a cautious stand before this. They are avoiding shopping openly. Experts believe that there may be a slight upheaval in the market ahead. The American stock market closed up on Monday. On Tuesday, its impact was seen on all Asian markets including India.

In early trading, investors of more than 30 stocks of IndusInd Bank, Mahindra & Mahindra, Hero Moto Corp, Titan and NTPC took over the stock. IndusInd Bank shares rose up to two per cent. At the same time, investors sold shares in HCL Technology, HDFC Bank and Infosys.

Among the 30 stocks of Sensex, 22 stocks were trading with an increase. Whereas 8 declined. At the same time, 39 stocks were trading rapidly in 50 stocks of Nifty. There were 11 losses.
