These five companies topped the money in 2019.

In the year 2019, many companies gave a shock to investors. Many companies have almost wiped out the wealth of investors. Three of the top five companies that hit investors the most this year are Anil Ambani's companies.

Reliance Communications, Reliance Capital and Reliance Infrastructure of the Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group (ADAG) have dived up to 95 per cent, 95 per cent and 92 per cent respectively as of December 15 this year. The shares of these companies have been continuously submerged.

Apart from this, the name of Dewan Housing Finance Company (DHFL) was also included in the companies that cleared the money of investors. This Mumbai-based NBFC cleared investors' wealth by 93 per cent. This company is going for bankruptcy.

Jain irrigation has also reduced the wealth of investors by 88 per cent. This company of Jalgaon in Maharashtra has been continuously accused of default. The company sells irrigation products and is badly trapped in the debt trap.

Currently, the market cap of Reliance Communications, Reliance Capital, DHFL, Reliance Infra and Jain Irrigation is Rs 235 crore, Rs 300 crore, Rs 506.8 crore, Rs 612.8 crore and Rs 391.1 crore, respectively.
